His First Year

I have lots of photos from Hudson's birthday party, but no time yet to organize them. Instead, here are some of my favorites or most memorable over the last 12 months.

ShamWOW!

I usually don't mention my birthday to anyone - I'm not 'that person'. But in this case, I have to show you what Mike and Hudson got me for my birthday. I am stoked to try these out!

He Walks!

Only a few steps at a time, but he's definately doing it. It was dark in the house because we were *trying* to get H to bed, sorry for the poor quality.

Dog Harassment

Saturday night Hudson was full of the sillies. He harassed the dogs until about 9pm.

The plastic wrap that H picks up from Max's bed was from the loaf of bread and the bread bag that Max enjoyed earlier in the day. Yummy!

It's Friday, I'm In Love

Anywhoo, it's Friday and I'm wrapping up the work week. Tonight I am going out with my best girlfriends for some much deserved cocktailing and carousing. This crowd is quick to start snapping with their iPhones so I'm sure there will be documentation of the evening that I wish there wasn't.

It's going to be difficult to choose.

Hudson's birthday is right around the corner and we are getting ready for his birthday party. His outfit has arrived. There is no way that he will wear the hat.

I am ordering his cake from an excellent bakery, but we'll make the rest of the food ourselves. I'm a little behind on the planning, but Penny and Mom are arriving next week and I know they will want to help. Plus Sandy has promised to make her famous Mac 'n Cheese.

Hudson moves to the toddler room on Monday and I'm pretty pleased about that. He's been increasingly bored with the babies, and Zoe moved up already. Next week they will be together again, just in time for Valentine's Day.

Our Weekend

The weekend was beautiful. We played outside on the front lawn. It was 68 degrees and sunny.

When we were outside Hudson received a text message from Zoe.

'OMG look at this message! Can you believe she said that?!'



'I need to respond straight away!'

We went to a Superbowl party at Catherine and Rob's and had a great time.
