Why do I always take pictures of Hudson eating? I think it's because:
1. He's a clown.
2. It's facinating how much mess he can make in such a short period.
Not Bennett, not Bennigan, and no, not Benedit. -Benedict - It's not that hard, really.

He missed his Mama too...
I need to get a plug in for myself. Just like how Hudson looked for Da-dee when he was away, Mike said he also went looking for me this week when I was in Atlanta. Came into the bedroom, 'Mama?' then looked in the bathroom. Yay me, I'm not second fiddle after all.

Traveling....
Mike has been traveling, and this week I was traveling so not much time for posting. This weekend I am very excited to visit my sister (in law) and older brother in Edmonton.
Yesterday I landed at the airport, went immediately to get H from daycare, then immediately to the pool. We spent 3 hours there and had a blast. Here he is in the baby pool.

Obsession with the 'dar-dor'
Hudson is newly obesessed with the dar-dor (garbage). And missing Da-dee.

Da-Dee
Mike is away in London. This morning H came running into the bedroom saying, 'Da-deee!' and got on his tip-toes to see if he was in bed. When he didn't see him there, he looked in the bathroom. I explained that Da-dee was away for a few days, on a plane! but that he would be home soon.
We got downstairs for breakfast and I was checking email on my phone. When Hudson saw me with the phone he pointed and again said, 'Da-dee!', meaning he wanted to see his favorite picture of Mike.
I showed him the picture (below). He got a huge smile on his face and gave the phone a sloppy kiss.

Tantrums have started
We've entered the Terrible Tantrums. But they are really not terrible, they are hilarious. This is the first one I've managed to get on (digital) film. As with most of his tantrums, this one was sparked by either:
1. not being allowed to go outside
2. not being allowed to walk around all day with a pacifier in his mouth
He should choose his location more wisely. When I have tantrums I do it on fluffy carpet, not on the mudroom floor next to a dog bowl.
These pictures are all crappy since they were taken with my phone. The camera was somewhere too far to walk.
Hudson's new recliner. Max says, 'If I knew my golden years would suck this bad I would have run away years ago.'.
Yesterday we went for groceries and Hudson grabbed for a nectarine. I let him eat it - yes it was unwashed and no we hadn't paid for it yet. It was better than a tantrum (see photos, above). This morning he wanted to eat another 'ball' for breakfast.

Redneck City
Hudson doesn't have a kiddie pool. We think they are just so redneck and we are much classier than that.
We took the beer out before filling it with water for him.

Happenings from last night...
Was there ever any doubt that Mike would find the boy a suitable stick, puck and ball?
This video is my absolute favorite.
