Hudson and I are both growing....

I finally look pregnant!  But I don't feel pregnant yet, and with only 3 months to go, I'll take that feeling.

Dacdor

Are kids genetically predisposed to like the things 'meant' for their gender? Or is it more of a nurture thing? I don't know, but H sure loves all things BOY.

His favorite weekend activity, riding on the dacdor with Da-deee. He notices everything about how Mike operates it and was whining for the 'deeeeee' (the key), knowing that the dacdor goes nowhere with the deeeee.

Hurricanes Game

I was only able to get a few shots from the game on Friday night because, frankly, H was a monster. Even having 4 adults there to entertain him, it was still pretty much impossible to watch the game. Thankfully our seats are away from the general population (we are the first row on the 2nd level, above the Ledge Lounge bar) so there is no one around us for him to bother - no one in front or behind, and he's contained on all sides by me, Mike, Ralph, Sandy, and the glass. So you'd think we'd have it covered, right? Fail.

This is our view - it's pretty great. Except for the glass which was covered in fingerprints, snot and drool by the time we left. And then there was the spoon that H dropped through the crack onto the people sitting in the really expensive seats below us in the Lounge (sorry!).

Durham Museum of Life and Science

A few weeks ago we took Hudson to the Durham Museum of Life and Science. We all had a great time!

He liked the Butterfly House and LOVED the creepy reptiles. 

Hurricane's Home Opener

Tonight is the Hurricane's home opener. We have season tickets so we are taking Hudson with us. Luckily, grandma and grandpa are next to us, so we have lots of reinforcements.

I have high hopes, both for this season's team and for my child's behavior. Mike tells me I'm asking for a lot. I fear I will be walking the concourse looking for the Pig instead of watching the game. 

I'll bring my camera to capture some of the choas.
