Lion Eats Firefighter

It's dangerous business at our house.

Shark!

Hudson loves this shark book.  They have it at daycare and one of the teachers does the Jaws 'song' when the kids read it (na-na, na-na) so he's repeating that here. I had to get him a copy for home because it's so priceless when he reads it.   Here's a video from Christmas Day.

Da-dees, Uncles and PopPops

I think God knows what he's doing when he doles out a baby's gender to expectant parents.   Hudson (and soon Boy #2) was born into the right family.  I'm not sure a little girl would appreciate the Benedict style of play.

Santa 2009

The weekend before Christmas we took H to see Santa. Like last year, Gammy and PopPop met us for Santa, then lunch (a new tradition).

Waiting in line....

Seeing PopPop for the first time. He lights up when he sees him every time.

Off to see Santa.

Oh no. He's touching me.

Yeah, this dude is creepy.

He's still touching me.

Off to lunch.

Snow

A few flakes fell before Christmas. Although we did have one snowfall in 2009, this was Hudson first 'real' snow.

The only hat he'll wear is Mike's toque. It's a lot too big, but it works.

Huge

I am huge and puffy and not having any fun now. Come on baby.  Just 2 more weeks....

Christmas Morning

Christmas morning started out with Hudson opening his stocking in his bed, then we moved downstairs to open the presents.   He was a little slow on the uptake, but once he realized that ripping off the paper revealed the goodness underneath he was full steam ahead.

After he opened the last gift he walked around the tree looking and said, 'More?'.

Offering the army man some of his 'pop-pop'.

Seeing the gifts under the tree for the first time, pop-pop and licorice still in hand.

Random Cuteness

We cleaned out the room that used to be my office, then Hudson's playroom, and now the new baby's nursery.  The closet in the room had been my 'overflow' closet, so when we found this sun hat H was very happy to try it on.
