Labor Day Weekend

Mike and I spent Labor Day weekend in Charleston, our first vacation together, alone, in over 3 years.  It was heaven!  We basically ate and drank our way through the city.  For anyone planning to go, I highly recommend the restaurant FIG (food is good) F.I.G. We had dinner at FIG one evening, then went back for dessert another night.  And I think I drank the city straight out of prosecco.

I ran a 5-mile loop through the town and along the battery - a great way to see the beautiful, old (huge) houses.

Mike's parents kept the boys and there is no way we could ever thank them enough.

We didn't take any pictures except this one. Hilarious.

And some random snaps of the boys:

Henry will be spending the night with us this week so I can only imagine what these two will get up to together.

On a really great vacation, I usually *don't* remember to take a bunch of photos because I'm having too much fun, so good for you. Charleston also makes me think of high-end shopping!

Lucky you with your in-laws!

Beautiful kiddos. I found you from The Nest. A=Cut kids and an Amos Lee song kept me browsing your blog longer than I anticipated. Happy running.
